When one of the world’s biggest brands sets up their new HQ, they don’t cut corners — and neither do we. Prentice Painting was brought in to help build out Nike’s new headquarters in Cremorne, Melbourne, handling everything from paint to plumbing.

This wasn’t a basic tidy-up job. It was a full-scale, cross-trade commercial fit-out — blending sharp branding, polished presentation, and durable materials that hold up under pressure.

Here’s a look behind the scenes at what we delivered.

Bold Wall Features & Branded Paintwork

One of the standout visuals in the space is the 'FAST' mural — a bold, high-contrast feature wall that hits you the moment you step in.

We handled:

• Full layout and application of the FAST brand graphics
• Clean edge detailing and stencil masking
• Custom-mixed industrial paint systems for durability

Every brand element had to be nailed — colour, contrast, and finish — with zero margin for error.

Premium Retail Display Area

Nike’s HQ doubles as a showroom. We prepped and finished the retail display area, where product meets presentation:

• Backlit shelving displays with wiring concealed behind paint-ready channels
• Durable concrete floors prepped with industrial-grade sealers
• Matching brand colours across floor joins, walls and fixture edges

The end result? Clean lines, pro finishes, and no distractions from the product.

Staff Breakout Room with 1972 Heritage Wall

A space to relax, recharge — and still reflect the brand. We completed the staff kitchen and breakout room, which includes the iconic 1972 timeline wall.

Scope included:

• Wall prep and mural work for Nike's founding year and milestones
• Timber seating install and surface finishing
• Floor sealing and joinery integration
• Electrical points for kitchen fitout and lighting

This area balances comfort with a sense of identity — exactly what Nike wanted for their team.

Reception Area + Electrical & Plumbing

The entry and reception area set the tone — clean, functional, and high-end. We managed the entire zone including:

• Exposed ceiling work with detailed cutting-in around ducts and pipes
• Install of all light tracks and switching systems
• Plumbing setup for kitchen and wet areas
• Seamless paint transitions between raw and polished surfaces

Nike wanted polished, but still urban — this hit the mark.

Feature Mural – Nike Van Wall

We brought this vintage Nike delivery van graphic to life with:

• Multi-layer stencil prep
• Dry-brush and airbrush combination technique
• Protective coating for longevity

The mural links past to present — a small detail with big visual impact.

In-House Cinema Room

A private screening space inside the HQ? No worries. We handled:

• Matte black wall prep and paint, low-glare and AV-friendly
• Lighting install with dimmer circuit wiring
• All finish work tied into the acoustic panels and ceiling system
